Though the story premise may attract your interest  initially, setting, protagonist, narrator’s voice, writing style, story POV may not click with you. 

Content Ratings

Mad Youth does not publish children’s books or YA novels. 

Our books are for mature teens and up.

Ratings will forewarn of potentially sensitive issues to help you choose the book that fits you best. 

Reading Samples

Our online booksellers offer the  first 10% of a book’s page count as sample preview.

If you enjoy the sample,  the rest of the book will not disappoint.

Please remember appreciation of art is a very personal thing. 

Reviews by others only apply to that single person’s likes, dislikes, and life experience, and may not apply to you at all.  

We are all different. Even identical twins are their own unique persons with their own singular tastes in food, music,  and art.

Reading the sample is the first and best way to know if you will like the book.

Rest assured, none of our authors and artists use A.I. in any form. 

We want our readers to be inspired by real human beings  and their experiential thoughts, not by lifeless silicon chips crunching zeroes and ones. 

We don’t use A.I. even for  proofreading— only human eyes and brains, and WORD’s old school, spell and grammar checker.  If our human brains missed a few typos, please accept our apologies. We’ll try harder to make sure your books are error free.
